LOVITO Learns About Generosity
As Lovito anxiously awaits the arrival of his new baby brother, ideas of how they will interact and play fill Lovito’s mind. When his brother (Panchito) finally arrives, Lovito finds his hopes dashed by the reality that Panchito cannot yet play, and his care requires more of everyone’s time and attention. As Lovito struggles to accept this, he experiences feelings of jealously alongside his disappointment. Through the guided efforts of his mother and father, Lovito learns how to adjust to the change; becoming more generous with his time, attention, and even through the sharing of his toys.
